Connected is a kinetic facade Vertical Pivot shading system made up of several sashes on top of each other that move in synchronous motion. The sashes are pivoted either on a slim frame or directly on the building structure without any frame. A connecting rod runs across the cluster connecting all the sashes to ensure that they move together. The sashes can be arranged in a single cluster per opening or as a series of clusters on top of each other. The movement is in the vertical axis manual or electric. The max sash height is limited to 1.2 meters and its width can go up to 3 meters. In its standard installation configuration, it is mounted within the building frame. Optionally it can also be fixed on the outside thus creating seamless integration with the building cladding.

In its typical configurations the system can accommodate cladding options like natural wood, GRP, Glass, Fiber Cement, Ceramic, Perforated Metal Sheets, Aluminum blades and ACP.

The system can be installed directly on the building opening without the need for any special provisions. The only necessary consideration is the wiring arrangement.

In total the system requires a depth of 150 – 600 mm to accommodate the motors as well as the sash internal rotation.

This electric pivot shading system can be centrally controlled by the Building Management System or individually via a wall mounted switch / remote control in single or group mode.
